week 3.2 critique and feedback from the other students

Image
We print out the a rough booklet that do not have a consistent visual style yet. Critiques from students: • There is not a consistent colour palette on the brief. The grey on page 4 and page 6 are different. • There are some grammatical error on the page • The insight page need to be simplified • The response page should present more information about "Taro" (Less specific to media more detail ed in concept) • keep developing the 5 ways of well-being page (or just write down 4 ways instead) • The font size could be smaller • The Maori language on the "five ways" page is not clear. The reader might not be able to understand  what those words mean • The illustration style differs from previous page • The "5 ways" page should be more specific to "how can we help Taro to keep learning in a new environment?" Plan of development: According to the time remains  for us, we decide to use photos rather than  illustration on the book...

We came up with some ideas about the booklet (visual brief) this week just after we finish the empathy map. However,we decide to clarify the contents before we start to design. We create a rough muck-up of the content of the visual brief.
